University eCommerce Program

The Controller's Office encourages University merchants who are pursuing ecommerce payments to utilize the Cashnet eMarket application. eMarket merchants may not require a Merchant ID (MID) or extensive examination of the merchant's PCI environment and compliance.

While the University's eMarket system meets most departments' business processing and data requirements, in rare cases eMarket system may not meet a merchant's business requirements. In these instances, departments may request an exemption from using the eMarket system for credit card processing. However, written request for exemptions requires approval of the University Controller or his designee.

Merchants using eMarket System are required to:

  1. Comply with PCI DSS requirements (see CSUF Compliance section)
  2. Complete a CSUF eMarket request form
  3. Complete annual training by system administrator(s) , and
  4. Undergo periodic assessment for continuing compliance.

Under no circumstance should a department contact a credit card processor directly to obtain access to credit card privileges for CSUF business needs.

Please fill out the CSUF eMarket Site Request FormPDF File Opens in new window and email it to emarket@exchange.fullerton.edu. Allow at least 4-6 weeks of lead time from the date of submission of a completed eMarket Request Form for deployment.
