How to Hire Research Assistants with General Fund Grants
Students may be hired to work as research assistants with the following restrictions:
- Students may work no more than 20 hours per week when classes are in session.
- Students may work up to 40 hours per week during the winter recess, intersession, and spring recess.
- If you wish to hire a student as a research assistant, they must be paid at a rate and step from the Student Salary Schedule
. As salary is paid, it must be identified according to the number of hours worked and the student salary range and step for that student.
